Sunshine has one of the highest rates of Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrests in Victoria, but with the help of local residents, we can help improve survival rates.

Sunshine is the programs current suburb for 2024.

We surveyed Sunshine community members to see what they knew about cardiac arrests, CPR and defibrillation. Here's what we discovered:

74% do not know where there nearest defib is.

55% haven’t received any recent first aid training.

78% do not know exactly how to use a defibrillator.
