St John Professional Volunteer and Salaried Responders set the benchmark in our industry and undergo a range of advanced, nationally accredited qualifications. St John Responders are skilled and equipped to treat a wide variety of injuries. Crews can be based at a static First Aid post or be a response crew in vehicle, buggy, bicycle or on foot.

A St John BERT enables rapid response to casualties across a wide event area or busy area that may have limited or no vehicle access. A BERT consists of two (2) First Responders.

St John buggies provide rapid, safe response capability and patient transport to events where vehicle access is limited or restricted due to significant crowding. A Buggy Response Team consists of two (2) First Responders.

A St John HERT adds a layer of advanced clinical response to events where there is greater risk of higher acuity patients. A HERT consists of two (2) Health Professionals that carry advanced equipment and medications to manage high acuity patients. A HERT can be based in a First Aid post or form a response crew in a mobile treatment vehicle.
